Destiny
As I tried to write this many times
I’m at a loss
put to the past shows today
what we once were is no longer
pages are being rewritten
like water dripping on a rock
so is the time that is yet to come
put to the past, this lifelong and vast
as we wear the mask
goals no longer the task
why will never be asked
for all I can see is the hear and now
what life was meant to be
for all that is the shattered dreams
what can it all mean
destiny
