EP 0002 – Validating From The Inside Out
We’re trying to validate ourselves from the outside in. We never learned how to validate ourselves from the inside out.
There are so many layers to recovery. Judgment is a big part of it. Most of us have trouble dealing with the outside judgment we perceive; we internalize the views of others and make it our own. The way we handle the judgment is to try not to put ourselves in places and situations where we can be judged. And that limits our life in many ways. Having to grow up and live it perfectly, so that you felt like you mattered is exhausting and adulthood. Shift your focus from internalizing how you perceive people see you and start looking at how you view yourself. Validate from the inside out.
